At Verbi ("App"), we take the privacy of our users seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our App, how it is used, and how it is protected.

1.1 Audio Recordings

• Audio recordings you create using the App are stored locally on your device
• Your audio recordings are never uploaded to our servers
• If you enable iCloud Sync, your recordings are stored encrypted in Apple's iCloud service

1.2 Transcription and Summary

• Audio transcription uses Apple's on-device Speech Recognition technology
• For AI summary generation, only the transcription text (not the audio file) is sent to OpenAI API
• OpenAI does not use submitted texts to train their models (API policy)

1.3 Usage Data

• We collect anonymous usage statistics to improve app performance and user experience
• This data includes: app launch count, recording duration, feature usage and other anonymous metrics
• Does not contain personally identifiable information
• Collected using TelemetryDeck service

1.4 Subscription Information

• In-app purchases are processed through Apple App Store
• Your payment information is managed by Apple and is never seen or stored by us
• Anonymous subscription status tracking is done through RevenueCat service

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide app functionality
• To improve user experience
• To identify and resolve technical issues

• To fulfill legal obligations

3. Data Security

• All audio recordings are stored encrypted locally on your device
• iCloud synchronization uses Apple's end-to-end encryption standard
• No audio recordings are stored on our servers

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Apple iCloud: To synchronize your data across devices (optional)
• RevenueCat: For subscription management
• TelemetryDeck: For anonymous usage analytics
• OpenAI: For AI summary generation (transcription text only)
• Firebase: For app performance monitoring

Our users have the following rights:

• Right to Access: All your data is stored locally on your device and you can access it at any time
• Right to Deletion: You can permanently delete your recordings from within the app
• Data Portability: You can export your recordings
• Right to Object: You can object to data processing and delete the app

6. Children's Privacy

Our App does not target children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from this age group.

7. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When significant changes occur, we will notify you through an in-app notification.
